Our an annual parish festival, St. John Festival is organized & hosted by St. John the Evangelist Parish. Your help goes further than you think! You can volunteer your time to serve our parish & Jesus. You'll represent SJE as a volunteer and this is your chance to evangelize! Many people who have never stepped foot into our church will experience SJE through you for the first time, let's show them we are Christians through our love. SJE’s St. John Festival raises funds for our parish & school, over $100k the last few years! This year’s festival dates are July 9th-12th. If you are having issues signing-up? What to expect

How can my ministry or connect group get involved?: We love this question! You can pick a booth or day, then email Sydney at events@stjohnparish.org so she can reserve slots for your ministry. Examples of other ministries who lead a booth are Knights of Columbus with the Elephant Ears, Men's Club owns the Corn Booth, Connect Group #1 The OG's at the SJE Grill, & the Franciscans cover the Pizza Booth.
Do I have to be a parish partner to sign up?: Nope, only the beer tent & gaming booths require you be a registered parish partner. We have plenty of local businesses that like to volunteer together for team bonding.
What are the rules for school family hours?: Maximum of hours is 10 per school family (mom/dad/grandparents can do them). Chairpersons can earn 13hours & Core Team members 18hours (Reach out to Sydney at events@stjohnparish.org if your interested in chair/core).
Where can we park?: Volunteers may park in the grass lot off Kielman by the MEC for the duration of their volunteer shift.
What should I wear?: If you have any SJE parish, SJE school, or SJE ministry apparel rock it! Otherwise summer modest as your representing the parish.
